We went to this restaurant before dropping our son off at Stout. We didn't want to hit the usual chain restaurants. This was a nice, clean, humming restaurant with a large menu and good food. We didn't walk away hungry--in fact, we were sadly too full for dessert, and the pies looked delicious--the prices were reasonable, and the service was fantastic. They were very busy when we arrived, but offered to seat us outside. It was a beautiful morning, so we said yes, and had the pretty outdoor eating area all to ourselves. Despite how busy they were, we were cared for promptly and with friendly service. It's classic breakfast fare: omelets, pancakes, waffles, etc, similar to a Perkins menu but better tasting. We plan to go there again while our son is attending school in Menomonie.
