This is one special restaurant in small town Manitowoc. I have eaten here a few times, and always am amazed at the variety of special menu items. They always offer something out of the ordinary. Service is alwasy spectacular. My only regret is they are not open for lunch on Saturday, so we don't get to visit as often as we would like.

It can be hard to find good food in small towns. The courthouse pub came highly recommended and deserves the accolades. The chicken pot pie is huge and delicious-perfect for cool nights in Wisconsin! Their steak is a beautiful cut, accompanied by lots of fresh vegetables. As if often the case in small, touristy towns, you get a lot of food for your dollar, and the Courthouse Pub is no exception, including warm rolls and soup or salad with your meal.

It's a nice restaurant in a smallish town. My wife is a connoisseur of pot pies, and it was the best one she's ever had (wait 25 mins for it, but it's worth it), and the steak I had was very good. Really good service (took a little long to get the check, but we weren't in a rush), and appropriate pricing. Interestingly, we saw an ad for it on TV, and it's better in person than it's advertised! Nicer, more intimate, clubbier. The owner/manager/judge??? was very personable and genuine--a nice touch.

We stopped here on our way up to Door County, and we are glad we did! It was a very unique place with a court theme. Instead of an "open" sign, there was a sign that said "Court is in session.". The food was excellent but a little pricier than the average restaurant. The atmosphere was like a small town. The owner walked from table to table asking how everyone was doing and seemed to genuinely care. He even led the singing of happy birthday to a guest. It was a great find!
