We walked into a quiet bar/restaurant the day after the 4th of July at 4:30 (Saturday). We had taken a walking tour of the area, then decided to stop by for a beer. The gal behind the bar welcomed us with a smile. We were served Summer Shandy in iced to quench our thirst and watched sports on the bar TV, while answering trivia questions on the other. We looked over the menu and hubby ordered a Big McGrath burger and I decided on the Cuban served on rosemary Texas toast that was baked down the street. Each sandwich was 6.95 and very tasty, prepared by a Le Cordon Bleu chef. We shared a basket of hand-cut fries, but could have used a couple friends to finish them. We learned that the bar was "hoppin'" on Thursday night to kick off the long weekend, but we were glad it wasn't packed so we could enjoy our meals at a leisurely pace and not feel rushed. We would definitely come back to try more items on the fun menu!
