“My seven, four and two year old loved it!”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

We had a great time on the train ride. The kids loved the petting zoo and the wagon ride through the forest. The museum and blacksmith shop was less interesting for the kids, but the adults enjoyed it. We also saw the lumberjack show. It was a great way to spend an afternoon!

Reviewed January 25, 2013

Lets just say you take a short ride to a small village with goats and things to feed and that is pretty much it. the train takes the same route back. Save your money for somtheing else!

“A second time for the kitty's”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

By popular demand, this was our second time visiting Camp 5. What my kids really wanted to do was pet the kittens. Petting the farm animals is a great experience for the kids. You can actually enter the pens and be with the animals as well as walk around with the free roaming ones in the barnyard. Being a history buff, myself, I can’t get enough of the lumbering history of Wisconsin. The lumbering museum is excellent. And I haven’t even mentioned the steam train ride to get there. How often can you ride in the upper level of a caboose?

“Short, short ride”
Reviewed May 8, 2012

The train ride was ridiculously short. The train went very, very slowly to attempt to make it seem like you were not paying a lot of money to go less than a mile.

“Short ride”
Reviewed April 26, 2012

Don't expect anything like an excursion, it's about a one mile run to Camp 5 Farm. Any ride behind steam is special, but this is barely worth the effort. The crew was friendly and invited us up into the cab to blow the whistle when we got back to Laona.
