We have been visiting the Land O Lakes area for the past 37 years, beginning with our honeymoon, so needless to say we know what the choices are and have been over the years for supper club type dining. The folks that took over The Twilight Supper Club were once owners of nearby Bentz Camp, This is the best thing that could have happened to the area. With recent economic woes, and frequent ownership changes to the areas' restaurants making dining choices iffy at best, this is an instant shining star. We arrived with a large three generation family of thirteen with folks ranging from 15 months to fifty something. Service was fast, courteous, and constant. Drinks were yummy, (you must try the soon to be legendary Old Fashions made from scratch) We were seated at a huge family table in the back corner right next to the video games which was very convenient for the kids AND parents, however this might not be a desirable place to sit for diners who are looking for a cozy evening. There are plenty of other sections to sit, so not to worry. Appetizers were hot and homemade as well. Try the homemade loaded potato chips. Salad bar was good. We have had better, but this one is up there. Homemade soup was offered as an alternative, and that was ok as well. Entrees were all excellent, ranging from kids meals to Walleye to Steaks and everything else that a Supper Club might offer. We all left feeling that we had found our new family vacation tradition favorite! Don't expect Five Star dining, but do expect Five Star "Up North" Dining. In many ways that is better!
