“Snowmobile stop at Bent's Camp”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

We stopped and had lunch at Bent's Camp last week and we were not disappointed. My wife had the pork barbecue sandwich with fries and I had a hamburger, both were excellent. The restaurant and bar are definitely north woodsy, log construction with large overhead beams, you really feel like you are in the north woods, which you are. The service was good, there were two women bar tending and serving and there had to be 40 sleds parked outside, it was packed. We will definitely go back.

“Since 1896. Amy and Craig's Heart.”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Bent's Camp is a treasure of Northwoods Wisconsin, on the shores of beloved Lake Mamie on The Cisco Chain of Lakes, several miles uproad from Land O'Lakes. For a drink at the Paper Birch Bark-lined walls and ceiling of the Lakeside Bar to a meal at the bar or affixed Knotty Pine-walled restaurant, the ambience is casual and real. Local and Alaskan fish, salad, burgers, pizzas, and other casual cafe food of several sorts, charming accoutrements, great local beer on tap, fish stories and taxidermy masterpieces abounding, local folks are precious and true. Cabins, fishing, what is not to love at this historic Fish Camp? Since 1896. I have visited them for three decades. Cherished.

“It is now average.”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

For the past 7 summers we have ventured up to Bent's Camp over Labor Day weekend for the Friday fish fry. In the beginning the location, atmosphere and great food hooked us. As the years went by the location and atmosphere stayed great but with the change in ownership there was a change in service and quality of the fish fry. Gone are the days of full service, you have to go to a salad bar type of area for bread, tarter sauce, etc. The corn with bacon has lost its flavor and the fish was so-so. On top of this the price has gone up. Unfortunately, after this last time we will probably not be returning.

“Busy fish fry”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

The fish was good. Not a lot of good dietary selections for healthy eating on Friday night. The wait was quite long for a few limited selections.
