I had the pleasure of eating at Mars this past Sunday night and it was totally wonderful. The bartender Dori has a smile and friendly attitude that won't quit. The atmosphere was beautiful especially with the sun going down on the other side of the lake. I loved the piano bar and the food was perfect. If you want good and friendly service with the cozy atmosphere and great food this is the place to go. I will be going back. Thanks Mike and Barb

We love Mars! We've been going there for years, and it never changes. Don't have high expectations - this a casual place and no one is rushed. The food is not fancy but good, and it's the place for a beer or a cocktail like a highball, not fancy wine. Everyone at the bar, which is always full at dinnertime, seems to know everyone else, but they're friendly to newcomers too. And the piano player Joy is a hoot! If you happen to go when Jimmy Buffett is in town, ask her to do Margaritaville. It will never sound the same again!

Service and food good, ok Prices. Decor very dark and outdated. Ribs are excellent and the specialty here. But basics like hamburgers are well prepared also.

Maybe the person who wrote the previous review went to the planet Mars instead of this cafe. The night before we attempted to get in and the seating hostess (hostess is doing her more justice than she deserves) took our name and refused to give us an estimate of how long it might be before we were seated. The cafe was crowded and hot with many people at the bar. We politely asked her to give us a rough idea of how long we were looking at and she refused and appeared indignant that the question was raised. We stayed for a short while, asked again, got nowhere and left.
