This is a fine location for a vacation hotel. I stayed here 45 years ago when there was a brand new Playboy Club at this spot.
The former club is the lobby and registration area for the Holiday Inn Vacation Club.
This is our third stay at this property.
We stayed in the oldest building #200. This section has been refurbished and they did a good job upgrading. Sadly the bed has a lumpy old mattress, the lighting is inadequate, and there's not enough storage space. The place was not as soundproof as it should be.
Security responds very well. We had a pair of oblivious inebriated individuals show up after 1 AM and they were quieted down quickly.
The fitness center works OK even with ancient cardio and weight machines. The pool and hot tub are nice and were useful. There are a lot of activities available by the resort but we had our own agenda and did not participate.
There's plenty of maintenance activity during our stay, that means the management is doing it's best to keep things in order for the busy season.More
