My husband and I had the most amazing time. We have been looking at the website for years...wishing that we would go and we finally did last night. From the moment we arrived we were "pampered". What other hotel/motel gives you a tour of your room and all the amenities??!! The staff was extremely friendly and caring and the room was amazing:) We can NOT wait to return to the Lazy Cloud!!

The Lazy Cloud Inn was a perfect getaway for me and my husband. My husband and I chose Lake Geneva for our honeymoon and the Lazy Cloud was an exceptional place to stay. When pulling up to the Lazy Cloud, it may not look like a 5-star resort (has a bit of a dated cabin look), but the staff was amazing, rooms were great, and the amenities were exceptional!

We spent three nights at the Lazy Cloud Inn in the Stone Grotto Suite and it was perfect. The space was very well utilized and it was simply charming. Also, if you had forgotten anything, chance are good that it was stocked somewhere in your room (such as a basket containing a hair dryer, curling iron, hair spray, body wash, shaving cream, and disposable razor) or the desk had something that you could borrow (zip lock bags, sun screen...).

I really have no complaints about the Lazy Cloud Inn other than the outward appearence could use updating and that it is right off of HWY 50, which could be considered a good or bad thing. With windows and doors closed, you could not hear the traffic.

Lazy Cloud and Staff, thank you so much for a wonderful stay and helping to make our honeymoon carefree and wonderful.

We were looking for a nice relaxing weekend getaway & came across this place. We stayed in the Stone Grotto suite & enjoyed every bit of it. The decor, the fireplace, the furniture - everything about this suite had a cozy, rustic look & feel and it was great! The lighting has dimmers which adds to the charm. They have a mesh fitted with lights right above the bed. The best part of the room was the cozy recliner couch.

The staff was friendly & helpful.

Not so great facts:
1. The breakfast. They only provided muffins and orange juice.
2. It is not really in the middle of the woods like it seems to be in the pictures but it is right on the highway.
3. The rooms are a lot smaller than they seem to be in the pictures
4. Considering the above, it is a bit overpriced at approx $250 a night

But overall a nice "one time only" experience.

Room Tip: All the suites seemed good, but one caution - they are a lot smaller in reality than what it looks like in the pictures.

Place we stayed, Mossy Glen, was fine. Not quite back in the woods like I had imagined. It was actually right on the highway, looked like a converted highway motel. People were very nice and pretty accommodating. Jacuzzi was clean and had plenty of hot water. The Caramel Apple Pie is delicious. The breakfast was nothing more than two muffins that were kept in the fridge. Nothing special. The place was nice and all, but for the price and quality of breakfast, not quite worth it to us. It is great for maybe one night, two nights was too long. The room had an old boombox with 2 romantic Cds, games, books, microwave, and a fridge. The coffee was Kona, that was pretty good. Might go back for a night, just a bit too pricey. Might try the separate B & Bs next time.
