The beach was nice. It cost $7.00 per adult to get in. Take a cooler and umbrella or tent and stay the day.

My little grandchildren had a great time at the beach. The food vendor was not very far, so my daughter went to buy lunch, and we had a nice picnic at the beach.

We went for the first time in years and it was perfect for the 21 month old with us. My brother and I had a great time jumping off the piers out a little deeper in the water, but it's very shallow otherwise and great for kids. It's a good idea to bring an umbrella and chairs and get there early.

It's clean, well guarded, sometimes crowded (it's not like a Lake Michigan beach) but worth it on a hot day. The water in late summer is perfect and clean. I would like some shade, preferably a tree or free umbrellas (can't remember if you can rent them). Kids love being able to rent a raft or use what floaty things we bring. There's decent food cart just up the stairs from the entrance by library park if you're starving, and Potbelly's across the street.

Within walking distance from our hotel. A little pricey for what they had. Just an average beach, & lifeguards. Staff not particularly friendly. Don't really acknowledge you. One young man helped us use the machine to get our tickets for entrance.
It was very clean. Teenagers had fun for awhile. The view of the lake is beautiful.
