A group of friends camped here over the weekend... I've been to several campgrounds and this one was the most "rough." The bathroom was pretty gross... three stalls with holes in the ground, super smelly, cobwebs everywhere, often out of toilet paper, and no sinks. You have to wash your hands and face at a drinking fountain. I didn't go in the shower house, but I heard that it was even worse. The lots were small, but the overgrown weeds gave each lot a little privacy. It is a convenient place to camp if you're going to a concert at Alpine Valley... only about 20 minutes away. It's nice that this campground is across the street from the "beach" but honestly, there isn't much of a beach. There was a bit of grass and then a 4 or 5 foot pebbly beach area that leads into the water. We had a boat with us, so it was nice having a public boat launch a couple miles away so we could spend the day on the boat in Lake Geneva... but I wouldn't have wanted to spend my day hanging out at this beach...

we traveled a long way to show up in a place that was so small, and the beach was probably hidden, we did not find it, maybe just the name to lure travelers, the campground was ok.

We enjoyed our weekend stay with two young children. The park is small but very clean and comfortable- LOVE that no alcohol is allowed on the premises, keeping the atmosphere a little more quiet. My daughter enjoyed the lovely playground area near the entrance to the park. There are no sinks in the bathrooms, only hand sanitizer, which is kind of inconvenient but it IS camping after all. The only disappointment was the "beach" area. It's located right on a very busy highway and is incredibly small and crowded with people and boats- not a place for small children. We headed into Lake Geneva and really enjoyed Riviera Beach for a small fee. We hope to return later this summer!

We went up for an impromtu camping weekend...what we found in the middle of the city was a quiet oasis for tent campers. the trailers camping was, in fact, a bit crowded. We were around the corner and it felt like a world away. It is clean, they come through and sanitize everyday. The paths are mowed and it's easy enough to get water and wood. I like this for a simple couples retreat. Study the map and pick your site. An added benefit...the Lakeshore path which is accessable right outside the park at either end of the beach.

Just across the highway is Big Foot Beach, a popular swimming spot away from downtown Lake Geneva. The park has lots of trails, a little creek, and allows camping and picnicking. State fee required.
