Owner description: Get this straight: The city is Lake Geneva, the lake is Geneva Lake. Hop aboard a classic yacht for a cruise around the second deepest lake in Wisconsin (135 feet deep and 21 miles around) which is the focal point of a popular resort area also known as "the Newport of the West."

Geneva Lake is a really fresh, clean lake to swim in. You don't feel dirty afterward (unless you, like me, squirm if seaweed touches you. Even so, you can easily swim in non-weedy areas). The water is warmer than Lake Michigan at all times of the year. The sand at Riviera Beach is pretty soft, and you can find interesting rocks and shells without cutting up your toes. Watch boats cut through the water or gulls flying around. Have a picnic up by the library and go shopping afterward! There is a lot going on down by Geneva Lake, and I would love to visit more often!

““Fishing Thrills Guide Service Scott Hill!!!””
Reviewed August 17, 2014

What a GREAT Time we had not only did Scott put us on the most fish my family has ever caught, We caught the biggest Largemouth Bass too at 23 inches at sixplus pounds. "We live and fish the waters in Florida and have never caught that many bass that BIG of big! His customer service and equipment are new and both top notch! He had to wait for us as it took longer to purchase our license than expected and never said a word about it.

“Boat Tour of Lake Geneva”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

A beautiful sunny day called for a boat tour. The houses surrounding the lake were beautiful and the two college students telling us stories about them did a fantastic job. They were informative, funny and interesting. After living in Chicago for 18 years, it was time for a relaxing experience on the lake!

“Fun place to visit”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

Beyond the thunder dome busy on summer weekends. It is a beautiful lake surrounded by magnificent homes. Take the boat tour to really see the lake or take the 20 plus mile walking path around the entire lake. The town has the usual rubbish tourist stores. Overpriced restaurants and the usual ice cream shops. Nevertheless it's a great place to take the wife and or the family. Rent a boat but watch out for choppy waters on the weekends. Good golfing and pleasant walks.
