This place is a MUST if you are visiting Lake Geneva. My wife and I just went here for dinner on Friday night and wanted a nice restaurant at a reasonable price. We ended up getting so much more. First of all, Baker House boasts an amazing view of the lake and is downtown close to all the action. Second, the restuarant and the staff really capture the 1920's/1930's ERA with decor and dress. Super nice people, excellent food, and passionate owners stop by to say hi. A neat tradition for all the patrons to go on the front lawn at sunset, toast to the enjoyment of a beautiful day, and hear about the history of the Baker House. Oh, and one of the most unique parts, if you like, you can choose from over 100 different hats to wear during your meal to give some additional character and fun to your visit. Come casual or dress up... Simply said, YOU GOTTA GO HERE!!!

We visited to the Baker House two nights in a row (we were only in town for 3 nights) We had the Trio of homemade spreads and also the Chocolate Fondue- awesome! Very good service and wonderful view of Lake Geneva. Both nights, we went out onto to the lawn and saluted the sundown w/ our "new friends." - even tried on some funny vintage hats! Went to the bar and talked with Kevin behind the bar- very nice gentleman w/ some good stories. Baker House is one of the few places to have my favorite drink- dark 'n stormy.... make it to a T. We will be back!

We enjoyed our dinner at Baker House while in Lake Geneva. I was attending a conference nearby and we broke away for a night. The format, all small plates, was different but was a neat experience. The staff dressed in period clothing makes it fun and the view of the lake is wonderful. The outdoor salute was rained out but we did it inside...it was neat. A great place to try for a change of pace.

This place is awesome!!!! Terrific concept/niche, food is incredibly yummy, staff super nice, great atmosphere and experience (although sadly we had to miss the infamous sundown). Went there with a group of friends and we absolutely all loved it. Great for groups or dates, whatever your liking. This will be a must stop for all my Lake Geneva trips for sure!

This is like nothing you've experienced before. Make time to check out the newest fine dining experience in Lake Geneva. The staff; dressed completely in period attire; tirelessly take care of your every need. The fully restored 1885 mansion overlooking Lake Geneva is the setting; you may dine inside or out on the lawn surrounded by the victorian gardens. The menu is all small plate dining, perfect for sharing. Wine and spirits abound; the bar is comfortable and the wine list extensive. Try the fired green beans; a house specialty. I also recommend the "coctail party for two" menu item which can be shared by up to 4 people.
