“Always good!”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

Several Egg Harbor restaurants are located in the Chicago area and I have never had a bad meal. They serve breakfast/lunch and generally close at 2 pm. I love their steel cut oatmeal, omelettes, egg skillets with your choice of eggs, meats, potatoes and veggies. The Door County Melt .. a grilled Chicken salad and cheese sandwich with salad and potato pancakes also a favorite. Great casual place .

This place has a nice decor. What we loved were the special breakfast items on the menu. Great food!

“Lovely for Breakfast”
Reviewed November 19, 2013

Visited this lovely restaurant on two occasions during our stay. The layout of the place is open plan but with nice private areas also. food is very good as is the service. It is very tastefully decorated with all things relating to the chicken and egg. Well worth a visit or two.

“Great breakfast options”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

They have their service down; right on the main thoroughfare of Lake Geneva, this place is busy but they manage the crowds well. Wonderful selection of breakfast and lunch foods. Healthier options available--some surprising additions like steel cut oatmeal and egg white, vegetarian omelets.

“Excellent Breakfast!”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

We arrived on a Saturday morning about 11am. Wasn't jam packed, but by the time we left an hour later, you couldn't get in the place. I was there with three other people - all our food was very good. I had the "tradiitonal", scrambled egg, english muffin and cubed potatoes. All were very good. If I had any criticism, it would be that we sat out on the heated patio and while I wasn't miserable, I would have preferred to sit inside. The hostess made it known that it was heated, so we opted to sit there - would eat inside if I went this time of year again. Strawberry-Orange Juice is very good if you want to try something different - drinks come in mason jars which is kind of cool for something different. Waitress was good, albeit she "tossed" napkins and jelly on the table which i though was a little gruff. Wouldn't stop me from eating there again - pleasantly placed right on the strip for shopping before or after!
