I actually won this stay at Rhinelander's Hops and Vines tasting event. Our room faced the water, our check-in was a breeze...gave us coupons to enjoy $1.50 off a drink.... and their $5 Buffet was exceptional! Had a very pleasant conversation with the man watering flowers and honestly the view on the deck was relaxing and gorgeous.... minus the mosquitoes!

Didn't play there but it was more upscale casino that I had imagined. We stayed nearby and ate there twice. Good burgers with plenty of fries with a trip to the salad bar for ten bucks. Buffet also available. Craps table was closed. They have hours posted for their table games. Worth checking out for the food.

We stopped here on a week long trip visiting wi casinos/hotels. The hotel is beautiful with nice lobby areas, fabulous pool and a lounge in the hotel. We had a king room with a balcony. Very nice and a lovely view of the lake. Get the casino package if going to gamble, includes $20 gambling money and $30 food credit. The casino is by far the nicest we've seen in the state. Great variety of machines and tables. All FRIENDLY employees, (we had not encountered too many of those.) We didn't win, but we had fun. The food was pretty good. Overall, highly recommend. We'll be back.

I see some people think the food was poor. I still have not had a bad meal. Yes some times you see a item that's been there awhile I will pass on it but I'm smart about those things The baked fish is always great Prime rib great enough choices to keep me happy

Stayed here several times. It is very convenient if you are to plan on gambling there. No where else close by to stay. It is very clean and that is the most important part of a stay for me. The water pressure is just acceptable. The beds comfortable. Staff is friendly. Towels are good. Probably will need updating in the near future. Would stay again.

Room Tip: As for a lake side room if available.

I rode there on my snowmobile. Everything was great except I had to park my snowmobile across the road from the hotel. That was very inconvenient. That is why I give it a poor review for location. The food was good and the drinks were too!

We've stayed here a number of times, in a number of different rooms and suites, and are always amazed at the sheer number of eagles flying over the lake. We live on a lake in northern Wisconsin, and we don't have anywhere near that many eagles on our lake, ever. Impressive and awe inspiring.

The hotel staff is among the friendliest we've ever encountered. From the reservation process (such happy, helpful people!) through checkout, it always is a pleasure. The rooms have always been clean and adequately furnished.

As others have mentioned, the gaming isn't the greatest, but it's on par with most reservation casinos. I mean, Vegas it isn't, but it's certainly not the tightest casino in Wisconsin. And if we're not doing well, there are always eagles to watch, right?

Not at all impressed with any food options. We have started bringing our own food in a cooler and making sandwiches in the room. It's fresh and the price is right.

Room Tip: If getting a deluxe room with balcony, be aware that they can be right over the bar and therefore, l...
