I have to admit that I wouldn't have gone into this restaurant with my children if it wasn't reviewed well on TripAdvisor as being for families with children. You need to walk through the small bar area to get to the cozy restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and the food was very good. My husband like the Hungry Peddler scallops and I had the daily special. The kids liked their meals of mac-n-cheese and they have a nice little relish tray to go with the bread. We would eat here again. We stopped in LaCrosse on our way to Wisconsin Dells.

They have Eggs Benedict! And they were delicious! If you are an Eggs Benedict fan you know how hard it is to find this on breakfast menus anymore. This place was very friendly with fast service.

One of my favorite places to eat in Lacrosse. Everything is excellent whether it is seafood, pasta, steaks, or burgers.

We were recommended to this restauraunt by a friend for a good stop on the way back from a weekend camping trip -- so we were tired, a little dehydrated, and definitely ready for air conditioning and just plain good food.

We got exactly that. The burgers were excellent, the fries cooked exactly right (altho we wanted more salt :-) ), the taco salad was crisp in the right places and the meat not too greasy. Other guests were ordering the sirloin tip specials and appeared to really enjoy them (and they had a wide selection of entrees versus simple sandwiches and burgers. Prices ranged from under $10 for sandwiches to about $16 for full entree meals.). The fresh brewed tea tasted just fine -- exactly what you want on a very hot afternoon.

The staff gave excellent, attentive service and were pleasant and friendly. The music was from the 70's -- apparently the radio station was on a 70's kick that day, but we found ourselves wanting to sing along. (We didn't :-) ).

It was easy to find off Route 61 and had plenty of parking, including pull-through parking for those of us towing trailers. This place is on my list of places to go again.
