Grew up in Chicagoland area but never visited Kohler. Was so excited to spend a relaxing girl’s weekend here with my sisters.
Stayed at the American Club next to a family with young kids who woke us up very early in the morning screaming and crying. When we shared our experience at checkout the women at the desk explained that they try to put young families on the first floor and offered to indicate in our profile (whatever that means) that we would prefer a higher floor next time. The three of us looked at each other baffled by this response. How would we know not to accept a room on the first floor? And why would they put three women there to relax next to a family with young kids?
The three of us easily spent more than $1,400 for spa services in a loud, overcrowded spa. People talking on phones and in large groups made it tough to relax. Not to mention the fact that it was hard to find chairs to sit on before and in between services.
Not sure we will return. The property is beautiful but the service and ambiance in the spa leaves a lot to be desired.
