We did a day trip to Chicago and instead of pushing it with driving the entire round trip of 360 miles we thought we would make an over nighter of it and spend the night at the Executive Inn in Kenosha. The room wasn't in that great of shape. The hallway lightbulb was burned out and on inspection, we found that the sofa bed did not have any bedding on it for our eleven year old son. The sofa-bed mattress had a large yellowish stain on it which really was a problem for our son (and us). We called the desk about the bedding immediately and after about an hour one of us went down to the front desk and got a set of bedding. Fortunately, I had a medical emergency of sorts and we left the Inn in the early evening and drove the 100 miles home without spending the night. There was a large, noisy group of people hanging out in the lobby area which didn't exactly help with our comfort level either. The Inn is obviously and older example of a roadside hotel/motel that has seen it's better day in my opinion. We definately would not stay here again.
