I have enjoyed a few days wandering downtown (which I consider to extend north and south along the lakefront, as well) in early spring; views are fantastic of the lake and causeway, with picturesque lighthouses, artwork in the green belts, lots of parks and playgrounds along the water, biking/walking paths and benches to relax on and take it all in. I have also visited a few of the downtown shops and restaurants, and have driven through when there was plenty of activity on a warm evening. Overall, it's a lovely and unique little downtown area, with an amazing lakefront, easy parking, free museums, and a vintage electric trolley which I am planning to ride around the harbor today with my daughter. Would recommend anyone visiting Kenosha (or living here!) to spend a few hours downtown if you get the chance!
