We recently took our child here to enjoy the pool for a quick one night winter getaway. What a waste of time and money. We were greeted by Tim at the front desk who would make a great dust pan because that is the amount of personality he displayed. He said his day was very busy which was funny because when we pulled in there was one other car in the lot. My wife had to wear a winter jacket in the pool area. There was ice/frost at least 3 inches thick around the pool door which is the secondary means of escape in an emergency. There is no way this door would open! The pool room has one small wall heater in the game room, a great idea if this Hotel was on the 26th parallel. The hot tub was luke warm and when timmy was asked the temp he stuck his hand in and said 103 and walked out and the pool is 82. The maintenance man said the pool is 84 and the Kim at the desk said its 86. If it was over 80 our lips would not have turned blue. The room was very small and smelled like chemicals. This place was nice when it was Hawthorn not any more!

Room Tip: Find a different place to stay.

Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay at Comfort Inn & Suites. Allow me to apologize on behalf of our hotel for failing to meet your expectations regarding cooler temperature in Pool area & unsatisfactory guest service from my front desk Representative on your recent visit. I have shared your feedback with Front Desk Rep. and Maintenance Dept. to ensure we handle these types of situations differently in the future. We have cleared ice build up (due to extreme cold weather) from the exit door and both Pool & SPA temperature are set to 86 & 102 degree respectively.

Again, thank you for your time and valuable feedback. For your inconvenience, I have FULLY REFUNDED your entire stay. Please allow up to 5 business days to post refund to your account. I hope you will give us another chance to provide you with superior service and accommodations on your next visit to Jackson.

Arrived 2-7-14 just for an over night stay. DD and her girlfriend had cheer competition at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. Just a few miles to go in the morning to arrive at the destination which was great instead of traveling 2 hours early in the morning.

Our room charge was $109 with tax. Room (211) consisted of 2 double beds (very comfy) shower/tub and toilet in one room and a dressing area outside of that.. one sink with large counter space (first room did not have this ..will explain later) closet, dresser, micro wave small frig, flat screen TV, desk, chair and a sitting chair. New carpet, freshly painted walls, mattress, wall hanging and bedding...fabulous.

After dropping off our bags in the room (room was a tad bit cold ) turned up the heat and right across the parking lot was a Culvers we grabbed a bite to eat. After, that 2 girls went swimming....the pool area has pool, hot tub and a game room. Was a bit chilly in there and the front desk person (sorry forgot to get his name) turned up the heat :) Went back up to room to unwind and room was still cold..call front desk ...they came up and fixed it. Went down to visit the girls in the pool area and to let the room heat up...Don't know why the person in clothing always ends up very wet...when they are not even swimming (naughty girls...lol). Time to head back to room to take a HOT shower and read...Nope ..room still cold ..down to the front desk. Changed rooms ..just across the hall.. not far to switch things over to new room. Heat is working ...so nice :)

Woke up at 7 ..went down for coffee, chatted with the owner (very nice man) ..he slept in our first room we had so he could get the heat figures out. They were hanging new pictures in lobby and putting the finishing touches on it.

The 2 girls came down (finally) for breakfast ..scrambled eggs, French toast sticks, sausage links, make you own waffles, bagels, mini muffins, Danish, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, milk, coffee, teas...and probably a few more things :) And a Sweet little Lady worked this area to restock and clean the breakfast area.

They said this coming spring they were going to renovate the pool area...

Sometimes it just take a while to get all of the kinks out of the "new". You have a great hotel and would defiantly stay again.

I stayed for 5 nights during a business trip. This hotel is fairly new and has a nice atmosphere. The room was huge! And nicely furnished. Internet speed is very good. Walking distance across from the hotel is a local food place which has decent take out meals or it in such as nice soups. If you need accommodation in the West Bend WI area, I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is very conveniently located just off a major highway but the road noise didn't bother us. The King room we got was HUGE and included a Jacuzzi. The bed was comfortable and the free breakfast had just enough variety to keep it interesting.

Room Tip: South side of building for access to parking lot and little or no road noise.

We came to Wisconsin for a geocaching event in nearby West Bend. After driving twelve hours a bed was very welcome, this one was very comfortable. The housekeeping staff was friendly and accomodating. We ate at Culver's next door - great custard - and then went to bed as it would be a busy day the next day. We both slept great, the internet worked well to download our caches and we enjoyed our breakfast. The following day was Saturday, the room wasn't open for breakfast until 7, which was a disappointment as we wanted to get an earlier start on the event. In the end it didn't hurt us, but it would have been nice if we had known this the night before. Also because the hotel was full of geocachers, it was difficult to get into the breakfast room when it did open at 7. So what could have been done? Knowing that many of your Friday night guests were in town for the geocaching event, the manager might have opened the breakfast room at 6 instead of at seven this weekend. If this is against policy, then just be sure that guests are aware of the times. Despite the breakfast snafu, it was a great place to stay and I would stay there again if we return for another geo-event, I'd just plan to get up and go for some caches before breakfast then stop to eat before going on. Well, to be honest once I start I don't stop, as demonstrated by the 10 o'clock dinner we ate, so I probably would just bring my own breakfast to eat before we got on the trail.

Thank you for taking the time to complete online survey. Your feedback is very important to us. Since your visit, we are opening our meeting room area during busy breakfast hours for additional seating. Geocaching is a great family event attracting visitors from all around the globe. Based on your feedback, starting this year, we will open breakfast 1 hour earlier to accommodate early-birds. We hope to see you again in August for Geocaching week.

I came in late and received a first floor room, at end of hall. Which was a nice large room with a flat screen TV. The night started quietly, but in the morning I was shaked awake by truck noise on nearby the highway. Which increased as the morning went on. So I went to the small breakfast area. Being fully booked, it was crowded. The normal select of breakfast foods. The rate was higher than I expected for the area. It was clean and newer on the plus side.

When a gas pipeline break prevented us from using the water in our home we "stayed" here. Really we just took showers there. Staff was very friendly always said hello and goodbye. The few times that no one was at the counter, someone would arrive before I could use the courtesy phone to call them. They were very understanding and helpful when I left my key at home and didn't want to dirve all the way back to get it, they just made me a new one. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Each room had it's own thermostat for temp. adjustment, which would usually be a bit cold when we checked in (we moved from room to room over the peiod of a month depending upon the reservation schedule), but once we changed it, it stayed set to our preference.
Right off the highway with a Culvers and a Subway in walking distance.
