“Great Food and Service”
Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

We ate here tonight for the first time and very much enjoyed it. The walleye and shrimp corn chowder were excellent. The chocolate cake was massive; easily serves 2-3 people! Our server, Betsy provided great service. The food came out at a good pace without making us feel rushed.

“excellent location, great staff”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Clean, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with wonderful view of the park and river. Very satisfying meal with a couple of cold beers from a good selection of both on the menu.

“Great place....but.....”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

Love(d) going to this place...the BEST happy our in town. However, there are a couple things to note.
1. Happy hour- $3.00 ANY beer--including the "good" stuff like stella (pints)
2. Happy hour is only in the bar areas-not main dining areas---I dont agree with this policy
3. They changed their nachos. They USED to be a heaping pile of cheesey/meaty goodness. Well, someone decided that "smoked gouda" nachos were better....they are NOT. The ones we got had very little meat and hardly any cheese...they werent even like nachos but rather some foo-foo platter that in my opinion, are not even in the same league as the old ones.
I hope they bring them back!!!!!

“What passes for luxury dining”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

Not dissing the place. It was very nice with a huge, huge deck overlooking the river. To parrot a couple of other reviewers, the prices are a bit out of line. The atmosphere is great however. Nice bar, nice location, great view. Could have more beers on tap, but it is what it isn. I had the walleye, first time ever. It is a fish that just doesn't have much taste so they have to bread it to get flavor. To bad because it is a nice with fleshed fish which I am certain they could make work with herbs rather than breading. The wild rice was an excellent accompanying dish. My friends rave about the place and couldn't wait to take me. It was a pleasant experience. The wait staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable.
