“Nice Park!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

This is are at park to hike with a group. Bring your dogs, kids, and anybody who is physically capable of climbing hills. The paths are wide and group friendly. The path that leads from the Nature Center towards the Falls is level and easy for those who aren't as physically able.

“Wonderful Natural Destination”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

I frequented Willow River as a high school student and have recently re-found its beauty since returning to the area after college. I found they have added new hiking trails. The campground is average, but there are many options, including group camping sites. Canoe and kayak rentals are available if you would like to check out the water. A beach and playground is located in the lower part of the park with Willow Falls in the upper. There are a few ways to get to the falls, so grab a map from the park office. I usually take the short, but very steep walk down from the North entrance parking lot. There are stairs on the North side of the falls to hike up and see the park from a view.
Accessibility: While there are trails and camping sites available for people with limited mobility, parts of the park are definitely kept in their wild form.
I frequently see people rock climbing near the falls site, though have never tried it myself.
This destination makes for great photos and memories.
A warning, be careful while exploring the falls and river. I have seen a few people fall in and though they sustain only scrapes and bruises, the river is definitely a wild creature not to be tamed! =)

“Great new additions”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2013

This park has some great new additions to there campgrounds. New sites, new bathrooms, new showers. Great hiking and, kayaking up to see the falls was a hidden secret. Could use some hiking loops but still nice trails. Getting to the falls is ok, walking a steep incline back out is difficult and parking at the trailhead is limited.

“Great camping and waterfalls”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

The 300 campground is great for tent camping. Shady and private. Lots of great hiking trails and of course the waterfalls! The beach is pretty lame, but they have canoe rental to enjoy the lake.
