Description: San Pedro Café is a Caribbean-themed restaurant and bar sharing the flavors, culture, and pleasures of the Caribbean Sea with residents and visitors of Hudson, Wisconsin. Nestled along the historic main street district of Hudson, the San Pedro Café invites you to experience life on island time. Caribbean-themed, culinary focused with an emphasis on scratch-cooking. The heart of our kitchen is our large wood-fired oven used to prepare fresh seafood, slow-smoked meats and vegetables, specialty pizzas, and a variety of other culinary delights. The San Pedro Cafe offers a unique experience of island life. With a concept conceived from the town of San Pedro in the island paradise of Ambergris Caye, Belize, the San Pedro Cafe welcomes you to come as you are. Whether you are enjoying our amazing Jalapeño Blood Orange Margarita on our tropical-inspired urban patio, sipping one of our signature Vacation Libations in front of our 100 gallon salt water aquarium, or watching our culinary team from the best-seat-in-the-house pasta bar, our theme of being hospitable and welcoming to all guests shines through. Our team hopes you enjoy your "vacation" at the San Pedro Cafe and we can't wait to see you again.

San Pedro was one of the places our hotel recommended. We chose it partly because they had a good gluten free menu. Very glad that led us here. The expected hour wait on a Friday night ended up only being 20 minutes or so. Hosts/hostesses were very friendly. The menu is a mix of caribbean and cuban food. So many things sounded good it was hard to decide. We got chips & salsa with choice of 2 of their 4 salsas. Went with grilled pineapple and the pico – both very fresh and tasty and good, hot chips. Our server was very helpful in helping us decide on entrees - you could tell she's actually tried the menu items by the detail of her descriptions. The Rojo Vieja was excellent, along with the gluten free version of chicken chile penne (rice instead of pasta). And we tried the banana mashed potatoes as a side and were pleasantly surprised. All food was so fresh tasting and spices really came through. Great selection of beer, wine and cocktails also. One

For those special occasions and confidence that the food quality and service are 'tops', this is the place to go. Whether is evening dinner or Sunday breakfast it's always excellent. Only reason it is rated a '4' is they don't take reservations and tough to get in for evening dinner. Unfortunately, it means they lose a customer to another restaurant.

We have been here a couple times and have fun trying the different fruity cocktails and fun food. We have always sat at the bar and had great service. Some items can be spicy so if your nervous about heat ask your server how hot it will be. It's a great place to get away from the hustle bustle.

A local favorite, San Pedro Cafe does not disappoint with its wide selection of drinks, appetizers and entrees. With a focus on Jamaican flavors, entrees are fresh, well-prepared and tasty. My husband and I enjoy Jamaican Jerk Chicken, served with rice and beans, or one of their great pizzas made in the wood burning oven. Our most recent visit included Irish Cream Creme Brulee - pretty close to heavenly. A backyard patio provides nice outdoor seating and the inside ambiance is upbeat and comfortable. Always our go-to restaurant when we want delicious food with a bit of kick, in a fun atmosphere.
