This quaint restaurant offers sandwiches, as well as dinners for very reasonable prices. The pork hocks on Thursday night are a sight to behold, both to look at and taste. The specials each night have been prepared with care and the only problems we have encountered have been the kitchen staff not getting rib eye entrees right. Drinks are prepared well, not burned, not skimpy.

A more useable design for the bar area would enhance traffic through the very narrow aisle between it and the booths. Not conducive to having a 2nd drink, to us.

Very highly recommend the food here, mostly homemade and not right off the food service supply truck, eg. Reinhart's.....

Always enjoy going to the Log Cabin because we know the food is going to be good, the help friendly and courteous and the atmosphere very homey. You can always find a great soup, which they change daily, as well as great sandwiches and other specials.

Dined with a life-long Sheboygan-area resident who had never been to the Log Cabin but had heard a number of good things about it.

The log cabin decor was very very clean, neat, and inviting. The casual atmosphere would easily accomodate a quiet dinner for two or a family with children.

Waitresses were very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu.

I had the Thursday night special: Pork Hock, sauerkraut, dumplings and gravy. The pork was very tender and juicy, the kraut was crisp and flavorful and the dumplings were of perfect consistency. The portion was huge. Be prepared to take half of it home in a box. Accompanied by a couple Leinie's Reds, this was an excellent meal.

My friend had the broasted chicken which he described as very good and would gladly order again.

The menu is suprisingly diverse. I'll definitely be back with the Friday Fish Fry as a priority.

The Log Cabin has been a staple of the community for about 40 years. They always have consistently good services and tasty food. We typically go on Saturday nights as a family member loves to get the special of the day: duck. Always good broasted chicken and burgers. Soups and desserts are also good. Classis rural WI atmosphere.
