Attention Chicagoans...this place promotes itself as "gourmet fine dining." Beware, this is your typical bad Wisconsin food. Far from "gourmet"...how about homemade Butternut Squash soup in the middle of summer?? Obviously from a can! The signature dish is pork tenderloin with blue cheese, which we found tough and tasted left over. The Walleye was dry and the Scallops tough. The restaurant is cute for the Northwoods, but skip it. It is way overpriced for typical Wisconsin food....Sorry! :-( If you are staying close by, stop in for a glass of wine at the bar...I am sure they have some OK frozen and then fried appetizers!!
