“Great restaurant on the water”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We were a bit leary about going to the Grey Rock to eat, as there were some rather poor reviews posted, so we called them to ask about this issue. We were informed that the entire kitchen staff, including the head chef had been recently replaced. We spoke with him on the phone, as my wife has some dietary issues (gluten). We did eat there that evening, and we were both amazed that this chef is in little Green Lake, Wi. Absoluetly one of the best meals we have eaten at any restaurant at any price. Great service, good presentation, and wonderful desert selections.

Chef's specials fish and dessert were very tasty. Had two soups, the calamari caesar salad and the fried oysters - all delicious.

The special the evening I was there was an Asiatic Ocean Perch - a large, firm white fish that was prepared perfectly. The homemade mushroom soup is a winner as well!

“Anniversary Party”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

We celebrated my parents' 50th anniversary here with a group of approximately 35 people. The service was excellent and the food was terrific. We had a beautiful, lakefront room all to ourselves, and many in our group enjoyed the piano bar after our dinner.

“Champagne Brunch”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We had the Champagne Brunch on a Sunday. I had the complimentary champagne, and my husband had a mimosa. We had a 12:00 reservation, but was able to change it to 11:30, and ended up getting seated about 11:15. It was not busy at all. There was a great selection of food, and it was all delicious. We had a great view of Big Green Lake. The website says adults are $14.95 and children $6.95, but I think we paid more than that. Staff is friendly and personable.
