On a recent business trip to Green Bay, I was surprised to find one of the better rates in town at this very new Cambria Suites. The hotel is located very close to Lambeau field, but is off of the main through streets and a little tricky to find at night.
Check-in was very quick and friendly, and my room - a King Suite - was unbelievable for what I paid ($105 with taxes). The room had a large, separate seating area, with its own flat-screen TV, in addition to the one in the bedroom area, which was also quite spacious. All of the furniture was trendy, but very functional and well thought out.
I didn't have time to use it, but the pool looked very inviting. Like everything else in this hotel, it was immaculately clean.
The only let-down - and a very minor one at that - I had was at breakfast. They do a buffet for $9.50. I didn't mind paying for breakfast (one reason the rate was so low, I'm sure), but if I'm going to pay nearly $10.00, the quality and selection of the food should be better than what you would typically get for free at most roadside hotels, and it wasn't.

Since our hotel is a little off of the main streets of Green Bay, we rely a lot on people just like you to get the word out about the Cambria Suties. Thank you for the great review! We hope you came back and stay with us again real soon!

The Cambria Suites in Green Bay is conveniently located near the Packer Stadium, but in a quite area away from traffic noise. I booked a Tower Suite with two bedrooms and a fold out
sofa bed. One bedroom is enclosed and one is separated by a half-wall from the living room.
We were on the 5th floor, and it overlooks the Packer Stadium, with large windows in both
bedrooms.

The beds are extremely comfortable. Plenty of good quality bathroom linens and accessories.
The "appliance station" in the living room has a microwave, coffee maker (with coffee and tea),
and a mini refrigerator. The decor is modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the
morning was an extra charge of $6.95 per person, but certain worth it. An empolyee told me
that it's even better during the week. We were there on a Saturday morning. It included
oatmeal, eggs, sausages, hash browns, assorted breads, bagels, muffins, and some very nice
cut up fruit, as well as bananas and apples. Great coffee and tea assortment.

The lobby has a bar with extended hours. Very friendly service. There is also a limited menu
of food that can be prepared until 11:00 PM. While it wasn't on the menu, the cook made me
an excellent grilled cheese sandwich, and the bar tender brewed me some nice iced tea.
There's also an assortment of pre-made sandwiches, cookies, and snacks available for sale.

I was there with my parents. We noticed a few things that weren't very well planned in the rooms. There was no mirror or closet in the enclosed bedroom. There was only one trash can
in the suite and it was in the bathroom. There was a closet in the semi-enclosed bedroom and
another closed between the other bedroom and the bathroom. There was a nice entry area
and living area, including a desk and comfortable office chair. But there was only one other
living room type chair and standard couch. Others in the family came to our suite to socialize,
but there's not enough chairs for the size of the suite. I was also surprised that there was only
one bathroom, since the suite can hold up to six people. I think one bathroom is impractical.

Still, the modern feel, friendly staff, and location make this a great place to stay.

Room Tip: The tower rooms are worth the extra money, although I'd say it's only practical for 4 people...

For the price, this hotel was top notch. Had a nice desk for work and a separate sitting room with a tv. The bathroom was very modern and spacious. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and there was another tv there. Oh, the best part is when the shades are drawn it is completely dark. No light gets through and you have no idea if it's light out! Right by Lambeau Field and other attractions. The staff was very helpful. We were on the fourth floor and the view was awesome. You could see Lambeau Field perfectly.

Room Tip: We stayed in the middle of the fourth floor but did not hear anyone the entire time.

We stayed here once in a king tower suite and once in the basic room, and the king tower suite definitely was worth the upgrade. The basic room is called a "one-room suite," which is a bathroom and fairly spacious bedroom with a partial divider into a sitting area. The tower room felt like a more expensive hotel, with a separate bedrooms, three flat-screen TVs and two closets. The furnishings and finishes were contemporary and seemed high-end. The room was a soothing and relaxing oasis on our busy trip. Service was good. Rooms were clean. Beds were firm and comfortable with a selection of pillows of different thickness. Staff was very friendly. Room service was decent, except the pizza, which was truly terrible. Burgers are served rare, so specify otherwise if that's not to your liking. I loved the blackout curtains. Outside noise was minimal. It's a pretty easy walk to Lambeau Field. Bathroom was stocked with Bath and Body Works toiletries, which were lovely, though the bottles were smaller than most and not enough for our family of four. The check-in time is 3:00 and you can't plan on being in the room any earlier. When I arrived slightly before 3:00, my room was not ready on either occasion, but I loved the noon check-out the following day.

Room Tip: If you'e traveling with kids, it's well worth the extra money for the tower suites that affo...

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at the Cambria Suites. The tower suites really are a fantastic upgrade option. We offer two types of tower suites. Our King Tower Suite which has one bedroom and a larger living room space, and our Double King Tower Suite which you stayed in that has two bedrooms just as you described. Both also offer a great view of Lambeau Field. Unfortunately for a large family the Bath and Body Works toiletries stocked in the bathrooms are the smaller travel size, but we are more than happy to supply you with any extra amenities you may need for your stay at any time. We apologize that your experience with our kitchen was so terrible. Also, I’m sorry we weren’t able to accommodate an early check-in time either time you stayed with us. This is usually not the case. We almost always have a room ready to check early arriving guests into although this is sometimes a more difficult task with our specialty rooms like the tower suites due to their limited number. We encourage you and your family to come back and visit us again for another relaxing family vacation.

My family and I stayed at Cambria Suites for one night while attending a Packers preseason game with the Kansas City Chiefs. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. In fact, our room was huge. In addition to the main sleeping area, there is a living room area with a desk, coffee table and pullout sofa, so each room can definitely sleep four people. The bathroom is one of the biggest I've seen in a mid-level hotel, with plenty of room to put all your stuff. Additionally, the hotel sits next to Brett Farve's Steakhouse if you would like a good meal, and is only a 10 minute walk to Lambeau Field for the Packers game. They must be doing something right because the place was sold out when we were there. The only negative is the almost $200 price tag to stay there (I'm sure they take full advantage of the fact it’s so close to Lambeau), and the small breakfast buffet was not included in the price ($6.50 per person). If you can overlook the high cost, this place is a winner in every regard.

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us for the Packer game! It can be a bit pricey to stay at all the hotels near Lambeau Field simply due to proximity. We welcome you back to stay with us again the next time you are in town.
