“Loved this place”

Heritage Hill State Historical Park
Reviewed October 7, 2017

I went at Christmas time and it was so much fun to see everyone dressed up in the costumes and see how life was way back when. Fun for kids of all ages.

Whether you go there to listen to outdoor music, or attend one of their large events like Civil War reenactments, Little House on the Prairie Days, or other special events, this place is a wonderful backdrop to a picnic or a place to really pour yourself into the history of our area. Many buildings from Old Green Bay have been brought together in one place to give a sense of the early days of statehood and even back further in the history of this place. Along with Hazlewood, these buildings are perhaps the best kept reminder of what life in the early days was like.

This was a wonderful two and a half hours, as we took a step back in time. There were several guides located throughout the park. So informative and so beautiful! A must see for all. There is admission $10 (discounts for seniors and kids).

This is an outstanding state park! Beautiful landscape and all the interpreters were so knowledgeable. Also there is a great tram that is available for "old legs". The driver on 7/20/17 was Larry and he was super! Don't miss this great park if you are in the Green Bay area.
