“Accurate historical picture of Green Bay”

Heritage Hill State Historical Park

This small live historical park in Green Bay has a fort, Belgian farm, trader's hut, and small town all from various points in Green Bay and Wisconsin's history. Live interpreters dressed in period clothing will bring to life what it was like to live in Green Bay from the 1700s until now.The Moravian church is also available for weddings and the newly expanded visitor's center can host your next event.

Took the family to their civil war re-enactment weekend. They had a Civil war camp and people working in the buildings. My 5 yo loved it!

I have gone to Heritage Hill State Park for many years. It is a great place to learn the history of the Green Bay area. The park is open all year long and will take tours and school groups. You walk through the park and each building is tied to another and each in thier own time period. The staff dress in the clothing of that time and explain what was happening at that time. Time of the great Peshtigo Fire, (same day as the Chicago Fire) and what countries came to aid the people of Northern Wisconsin. Military Battles, and reinactments. A great time and place for the entire family.

Great interpreters, wide variety of buildings - great special events. Laura Ingels Wilder Days are always a popular weekend.

All of the staff were very friendly. Even though all of the buildings were not open to the public, you could at least see through the windows.
