“Well kept zoo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

We really enjoyed this zoo. It's a really affordable and enjoyable mid-size zoo. They offer a lot of fun and affordable add-ons - our daughter was able to feed goats, a pelican, and a giraffe. The food at the cafe was really good. It was a sit down restaurant with a short wait.

Good variety of animals. The only reason for four stars is that we happened to visit on a really hot day. Unfortunately that meant most of the animals found places to hide and stay cool that were out of visitor view. I would have loved if there were viewing areas that were more accessible to the hideouts!

“Very nice smaller zoo.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2013

I've been meaning to get over to the zoo for years and am really glad I finally made the run over. The zoo has a nice collection of well cared for animals. It's a manageable size as well. A cafe just opened so you can now enjoy lunch or a snack during your stay. There were lots of kids there, Y groups and such, and the Zoo handles the traffic well. It is not a petting Zoo if you are looking for that (go to Greenville). Quite a few of the exhibits are totally fenced limiting picture taking opportunities.

“Great little zoo!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

What a wonderful zoo! Very nicely laid out. Great selection of animals. You can even feed the giraffes! No real long lines. Really nice day and was surprised how nice the zoo was for not being in a major city. Highly recommend.

“It's True, Giraffes Have Blue Tongues!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2013

This is a great little zoo, and reasonably priced. The highlight of our visit was the opportunity to feed a live giraffe. For $1, you can purchase two bundles of ash leaves, which the giraffes graciously slurp out of your hand with no hesitation. Even those not feeding the giraffes can get a close-up look, and maybe even pet their noses. I was surprised that the zoo is located so far out of Green Bay proper. It was a little tricky to find, seeing that we needed to take two detour routes due to road construction. Even so, it is worth the drive. Members of other zoos should note that this facility participates in the zoo reciprocity program. Your tickets may be half off, or even free.
