Small eclectic restaurant with very nice staff. The pesto gnocchi was to die for; even the bread was to die for. It took a little longer than expected for lunch to arrive but real food excellently prepared takes a little time. So, go there, turn off your phone don’t look at your watch and have a wonderful European lunch by the river.

We have been very happy customers of CasSandra's, previously Caffe Mario, for many, many years. Under new ownership, the restaurant continues to a weekly choice for us. We are excited about the new menu choices and new wine list. It is one of the few places in Green Bay that has a decent wine list. The service continues to be courteous and attentive. Pricing is very affordable...and for sunsets, it the right place to be. If you haven't experienced CasSandra's, you should give yourself a treat and enjoy dinner out and a good bottle of wine.

Very disappointed....I knew we should've gone elsewhere. First, we called for directions and they couldn't give us a street name. My husband had to open the wine bottle for the waitress. Now that's pretty SAD. My husbands food came and it was ice cold and we couldn't get the attention of the server, so we finally interrupted the owner as she was talking to the table next to us...Shouldn't she be in the kitchen cookin our dinner instead of "yapping" away. Apparently, this place is going to be called "Cassandra's" soon, so be aware! Save your money and go elsewhere.

We love to sit outside looking at the river and enjoying their delicious Italian food. Coffee and a sandwich or the frittata with the tasty side salad for brunch. Yum! The inside is so uniquely decorated. I love the colorful tables. You can't go wrong at Caffe Mario.

Whenever we are looking to entertain someone from out of town, we like to go to Caffe Mario. The place itself is not huge, maybe 10-15 tables, so it feels very relaxed. The first time we visited, I had their special of the night sacchetti stuffed with truffle and cheese. It was quite possibly the best Italian dish I had ever tasted. Our server says they don't make it often, but you could call a few days in advance and the chef might be able to arrange it for you. Their ravioli is always a good choice. Portions are not huge, but if you add on an a la carte salad or soup, you are set for an enjoyable meal. It is a little tricky to find if you are not familiar with it because it is located in a big marina (warehouse looking building) and it does not look like a restaurant should be there. Their entrance is on the river side of the building. Once inside the restaurant the ambiance is light and airy. Definitely check this place out!
