Walk into the main entrance (gift shop) and hang a left; there are restrooms there - continue through the doorway and down the hall to the right - there you check into the tour. You receive a souvenir glass and choice of Red Apple soda (yum) or seasonal beer. Kids are provided a paper cup w/ Red Apple soda. You get wrist-banded with 4 beer sample tabs for the tasting room (if you have beer at the check-in area, that is one tab). The tour is safe for all ages - there were younger children on our tour and it is short enough that it held their attention. The tour guide is engaging - you'll hear the history of the brewery - see and hear how they make the beer and sodas - packaging - and distribution. After the tour - you enter a tasting area that has ample seating and the option to try their beers and soda. There is some foods available for purchase - nachos, warm/soft pretzels, WI-made cheese curds - food is reasonably priced. I found it interesting that they do not use artificial ingredients - and strive to purchase all WI-made ingredients. Very nice tour for $5 (adult-price). You can pick up a business card to take to participating restaurants for a 'beer on Randy.' Very nice and generous tour!
