I didn't know anything about the famous couple who owned this house, but I loved seeing how a glamorous theatre couple lived and entertained. The interior design was remarkable--dated, of course, but fascinating and fun. The grounds, including a couple of outbuildings and swimming pool, were beautiful. I came away with the feeling that this couple had lived well, and loved well. It was inspriing. And since the tour was so long--over two hours--and the place so obviously expensive to maintain, I thought the price ($35) was fair.
