Had received a menu a while back and decided to try it, as you never know when you will uncover a hidden gem.
This wasn't it. The problem is that I have had better versions of the same dish locally, so I will continue to go to those places.
Here are some suggestions for better dishes.
Moo Shu-The pancakes were of a poor consistency. They should not be dry, too thin and brittle that you can not wrap it around the filling. Also the filling should be shredded, as that what fits easily inside the pancake. Taste was good, but could not eat it as a pancake.
General Tso's Chicken-Larger pieces of white meat are needed. when you deep fry tiny pieces of thigh and dark meat, you end up with a bad dish, with no flavor of chicken, just gummy batter in a sauce.
Lo Mein-This was ok, but there were pieces of lettuce mixed in that just wilt from the heat. They are not needed
Pork and Beef Egg Rolls-Small, no filling more like a deep fried wonton wrapper.
A very nice owner, who I wish the best for, but it is a very competitive market and you have to up your game to compete. There are plenty of mediocre Chinese restaurants, be better than that.
