“Don't do Mother's/Father's days buffets”
Reviewed September 1, 2010

WE have been here a few times and enjoyed their food. Our party of 5 went on Father's Day for the buffet. We didn't have a reservation, but were seated anyhow. The Buffet was very good until we got the bill. It ended up almost $30. per person. there was the tip - 20%. 20% for a buffet is REALLY OUTRAGIOUS for the server bringing a cup of coffee. The best Las Vegas buffet servers don't expect anything like that. Who do they think they are in little ole Franklin Wi????

“Food's great; service, hmmmm”
Reviewed July 28, 2010

While the entrees were outstanding and the wine list very nice, our service left a bit to be desired. We asked to split an entree and heard, "There's a charge for that." Also since we would have two salads, "There's a charge for that". When our friend ordered mussels and asked if a bed of linguini could be served with, "There's a charge for that." So, the evening didn't start out too well. The charges, by the way, made it clear that Casa Di Giorgio wasn't really interested in helping out. As I said, when the entrees came, it was worth it. Really worth it. The back area of the restaurant is bright and the sound "lively". Ask to be seated at the front of the restaurant if you want a quiet evening.

“nice italian place for franklin”
Reviewed June 22, 2010

I agree with the other reviewer that said it was just average. We also went to this place because of a coupon. It was really a distance to travel from where we live in Milwaukee. It appears as though they want to be upscale but the atmosphere is so-so. It also echos horribly. The food was good. I had a seafood ravioli with a tomato/ vodka sauce. It was delicious. My husband had a panini that he said was o.k.
We didn't get drink refills until we asked for them. Our server was friendly but not very attentive.

“OK...”
Reviewed August 13, 2009

We went here because we had a coupon for a free meal. Both of our dishes were good, but we've had better at other Italian places. The atmosphere was cozy. We are not sure if we'll go back and pay full price when we've been to other Italian places with better food for less money.

“Very Good Italian Food!”
Reviewed June 27, 2008

I have been to Casa De Giorgio several times - and each experience was a pleasure. The waiters are usually pretty good. Sometimes though, I was starving and didn't want to wait long - just tell them you are hungry and they will speed up! Favorite dish there is the Chicken with Goat Cheese. Yum! We also enjoy the Lasagna and Bruschetta (sp?). The interior is very nice, and more romantic than your olive garden experience. Sometimes though, its hard to read the menu its so dark!
