“Chicken parmigiana is awesome”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We went on Friday night with no reservations, they were able to fit us in, should make reservations though. We started out with crab cakes and cheese garlic bread, both were very good. My husband had the lasagna and I had the chicken parmigiana, the lasagna was very good, but the chicken parmigiana was awesome, it was melt in your mouth delicious. We had a coupon which made an reasonable priced dinner even better. Will be going back again soon.

“Good Food”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

We tried this restaurant for the first time 2 weeks ago with some friends. All of us enjoyed our meals. I had a smoked salmon & pasta dish which was on the specials list and was quite flavorful. Someone had the chicken parmigiana which was amazing! The chicken was so tender it melted in your mouth! Another person had pizza--which was typical and another had fish, which was quite flavorful and very lightly breaded - so you felt like it was still healthy. The atmosphere in the restaurant is comfortable--decor a bit outdated, but as long as the food is good, who cares!

Prices were fair, and meals included salad or soup...which is nice since some Italian restaurants now charge extra for this.

Be sure to make reservations so that you can get seated in the main dining room. Things get a little hectic in the first dining room because the bar and entrance are crammed together in there.

If there was anything that wasn't great it was the uncomfortable squeeze as you enter the first dining room because of the tight space between the bar and the greeters desk. Feels quite unsafe--especially if you needed to get out quickly.

“A seafood surprise”
Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

We come to Milwaukee frequently and normally stay in the area around the airport. Not wanting to go into town on a Saturday evening we went hunting for something good in the area. Casa di Giorgio may look rather unexciting on the outside but once inside you can see that it is nicely if not a bit crowded on the inside. It serves both lunch and dinner. It advertises wood oven pizza and daily specials. We were there for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the options. To start, we had the house made white bean soup which was quite tasty and the bruscetta which was offered on rolls vice toast . Where they really excelled for us was on the numerous seafood dinner selections and the quality of the same. My spouse had the paella and he got a pile of shrimp, longustina, scallops, clams, calamari, and mussels with great broth and a bit of rice. Wow! All was fresh and done to perfection. Dessert was a freshly made cannole. The service was very midwestern friendly if not the most professional. But it was quite attentive. We were impressed enough with the food that we want to return to try their pasta and slabs of beef that we saw others having. All in all , a surprisingly nice experience.

“Good food/experience”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

My husband and I have eaten here several times, including this past Sat night. Definitely make reservations because the place isn't very big. Plus, they always have coupons and/or "certificates" circulating which has increased the popularity AND the prices. I wouldn't eat here without a coupon. That being said, the portions are generally quite big, and everything we have ever tried has been very good. Dinners include soup or salad and an Italian bread loaf, which I like. I like the atmosphere--cozy, but if you are in the bar area, it can get VERY crowded with people waiting for tables, and the bar service is generally lacking.

We brought some family in with us from out of town and had the most enjoyable dinner!! The food was superb and steaks were melt in your mouth! Pasta dishes were tasty and full of huge shrimp. Our server Michelle was quite attentive and very personable! We will keep coming back!! When you go there you must ask for her and you will totally enjoy your evening out at Casa Di Georgio!
