We stayed here one night for a wedding. We had a two bedroom suite - 1 with a king, 1 with two queens, each having a bathroom. The building and rooms were impressive when we walked in - very nice! Our room had a small kitchen with a table and 4 chairs. Each room had a tv. The living area was large and also had a big desk. We came back late from the reception and had to park in Walgreens parking lot, which is right next door, so not too far to walk. Part of the parking lot has bricks, which looks nice, but is hard to walk on in heels. In the morning, there was a wonderful breakfast - many things to choose from - probably the best hotel spread I've seen. Also, you could eat in the dining area or bring food to your room. Their pool is large and has a hot tub. The pool area was warm and comfortable. We were there with other family and had many kids in the pool playing together. There were probably 10 kids, half teenagers, in at once, having a great time!

We are very pleased to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay here. With all the amenities we have on site, it's hard not too! We hope you had a chance to visit our in house movie theater as well! Our hotel is a green hotel and the bricked lot actually plays a large part in that. We are located on 10 acres of wetlands and with the bricked lot, it helps with water overflow back into those wetlands to guarantee no flooding in our parking lot. We hope to hear that you are able to come back and visit us again and see what's all new here at the Staybridge Suites!

...and if you have read previous postings on this site...you know the 'flaw' is structural, with noise transference through ceilings and walls that can be most disturbing.
Now, the good news...without the structural concern, I would rate this hotel FIVE PLUS. Upon arrival, the attractive landscaping was noted. Checkin (and checkout) were friendly, professional and speedy. The small suite was very clean as was the bath...having a full kitchen is a plus, as is the speedy, and free Wi-Fi, and flat screen TV. The pool and hottub are actractive as is the 'gazebo' area in the back of the hotel with comfortable outdoor seating, and grills for guest use. By the way, if you did not bring a laptop, there are 2 computer stations, with printer for guest use. The free breakfast is quite remarkable.....hot foods, cold foods, just about anything that one could wish for....that breakfast is a major PLUS. For convenience, there is a major brand drug store next to the hotel, and a large super market w/liquor department about a block from the hotel. I recommend this hotel, and plan on returning.

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite for 4 nights. When getting ready for bed the first night, we noticed several tiny brown bugs crawling around in the sheets and pillows. The front desk staff told us not to worry, because the bugs were a "nuisance bug" called box alders that are native to WI, and assured that the bugs don't bite. Even after the staff completely changed the linens, there were still more crawling in the sheets. We told the manager in the morning, and were simply handed an article from the internet about the bugs, and given a lecture about how harmless they are, and how extermination won't remedy the problem. Really?!? Although the hotel is very nice, beware of the bugs if you stay here!

We apologize about the inconvenience, however we have tried our best in keeping this box alders under control as we are located on 10 acres of wetlands. We are happy to say that we have not had any issues with these bugs since we have found a solution to keep them away from congregating outside in the warmer weather. We hope that we could have you back to show you that we no longer have this issue with the wetlands.

I travel for work so I stay in a lot of hotels. 1st time I stayed here I saw 3 bugs (small black and orange ones). I told the front desk on my way out about the infestation. So thought I should give them another chance (maybe it was a seasonal thing). I was wrong! It's even worst. This time I saw 5 of the same bugs. You've been warned!

Our Staybridge Suites is build on 10 acres of Wetlands in the Franklin area. Upon our first year of opening, there was in inflex of insects called Box Elders. These are harmless bugs that did congregrate around our hotel in the warmer weather near the doors and get in when people entered and exited. Since we have opened, we have taken into effect these insects and have not had problems with them since we have found a solution to keeping them in the wetlands.

I stayed here for 6 months. The entire staff was amazing. They allowed pets and treated my animals as family. Very clean. Perfect location-close to the bus to take you into Milwaukee. The meals on Tues, Wed and Thurs for the social hour was great and so was the "hostess". I brought my daughter and her family down for the weekend and they were treated as though they had known them forever. When I needed a room for a visitor from our Corporate office they were very accomodating. I really can't say enough good things about them. If you stay here you will NOT be disappointed. Only downfall is they could use a few more washers and dryers.

This is a nice place to stay. The hotel is new enough that everything is still very clean. They have a decent breakfastand a very nice evening reception with food in the lobby. The people working there are very nice also.

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites, Franklin in room 511 while in town for a wedding reception. When we walked through the door to the lobby we were very impressed. When we got to our room, we were equally impressed with the cleanliness, appearance, etc. It wasn't until we returned from the reception that we started questioning the value ($148 including taxes) of the hotel.
It was almost midnight when we arrived back and wanted to grab a drink in the shop. The clerk at the counter acted as if we were bothering him when we asked how much we owed him for the soda. In fact he was quite unfriendly, walking away before we had finished our transaction, so we asked him to return to help us. After getting a soda and bag of chips we went to our room. When we tried to sleep both my husband and I had difficulty sleeping due to the noise of the air conditioning unit! The air conditioning unit sounded as if an engine was starting up everytime it turned on - it was the loudest AC I had ever heard. Literally it woke us up all night long.

With a terrible night's rest, we realized very early in the morning how paper thin the walls were. At approximately 6 AM the sound of the neighbors in the next room was so obvious. Even with a room (living area) between our bedroom and the next hotel room, we could hear every word they were saying. It wasn't the guests who were loud - it was the thin walls or the vents that allowed the noise from the other room to be so clear and disruptive. In the morning we could also hear conversations coming from the parking lot - which is pretty extreme since we were on the 5th floor!

For a new hotel with such nice amenities, comfortable beds and rooms, the cheaply made structure and the air conditioning noise made our stay one where we would not come back to this hotel.

I am so sorry to hear about your disappointing stay. Although we are extremely happy you enjoyed our amenities, it is disappointing to hear about the noise issues. As a hotel, we try to keep our guests as comfortable as possible and try to keep the noise level to a minimum. We have been looking into ways to provide guests with more of a relaxed and comfortable nights rest and assure you that we will continue to look into this matter until we have done everything we can to assure the appropriate actions have been taken.
