“Fun for all”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

Spent Fathers day weekend at Jellystone in Fort Atkinson. We had to move from our original site as rains made deep rivets that we weren’t comfortable backing our trailer into. The staff at the front desk quickly found us a few options and we found a site –a site that we would request again in the future. The site provided a nice mix of sunshine and shade and was big enough for the kids to play ball in. The best part of our first night there was the “Night games”. Our kids loved playing Red Light/ Green Light and Sardines with a slew of other kids. Watching the lanterns fly away was also a big highlight of our first night. The staff member who headed this up, was very engaged with the kids and kept her eyes on the little ones.
We spent the majority of our second day at the pool. The water temperature was great - -refreshing, but not at all uncomfortable so cold you didn’t want to go in. The pool area had ample chairs for everyone, clean restrooms nearby and a concession stand.
Once again, our kids enjoyed the activity - -candy bar bingo. It was a fun activity the whole family could take part in at minimal cost.

We played mini golf –course was a bit dated and a bit challenging for little ones, but still fun.

Saturday morning we visited the Fort Atkinson Farmer’s market - -just a short drive from the campground. Something we will do again on our next visit back to Jellystone.

Another highlight was the “Hey Ride” - -we enjoyed seeing the park. Could have done without the singing - -but all the kids seem to enjoy it as well as saying “HEY” to all those we passed on the ride.

Overall, the campground provided us with everything we needed for a memorable family fun weekend. All the staff we interacted with were pleasant.

We had to listen to all the local trailers run their mowers and weed eaters for 3 days. This is not the place for overnight camping. This "Campground" is just a trailer park with smaller trailers. Nothing is included, we ended up spending alot of money for all the activities. The kids seemed to have fun, but if your an adult, there is nothing to do but drink. The local area is beautiful, but you have to leave the grounds to do anything. We rented the smaller cabins, and they were clean and comfortable. It was right on the main drag for all the locals to run their golf carts all night long. Yee Haw!

This is the first and last time I will go to this campground. We had a terrible campsite. Not a level spot on it. It was impossible to even sit in a lawn chair! We could have possibly asked for a different site. However, we were with a group that were staying in 2 of the cabins, and wanted to be close to them. This area was awful, not cared for, dirty, no gravel or grass. It was unfortunate that it rained making it muddy. Although, without the rain we would have been dealing with the dust from the road. People with golf carts were constantly driving around, all hours of the night, flying by, and noisy. I don't understand. As we walked around, we saw several seasonal trailers that looked like they had been abandoned???? in 20 years, I have never paid so much for camping. I was so disappointed.

Had a blast the second time around. Perfect place for friends and family togather and enjoy each others company as well as the outdoors. There are plenty of acitivities for the kids to do and adults as well. For the kids there is swimming, mini golf, hay rides, play grounds and usually some type of craft activity. For the adult there was adult bingo and golf cart poker. So much to do to keep busy. On top of everything the campground was very clean.

We camp about 10 times a year at campgrounds and properties in Wisconsin. I have been to many Jellystones in Wisconsin and must say that I REALLY enjoyed this one in Fort Atkinson. Our site was GREAT, the activities available for the kids and adults was a big bonus. I liked the fact that it wasn't just a big flat field with a bunch of units crammed into a small area, very spacious! I felt the cost was very reasonable and liked that you weren't required to pay amenities fees for just being there, pool was included, but we didn't need to much else except relax at our campsite. The camp hosts were nice and friendly. HIGHLY recommend this get-a-way close to Milwaukee.

Room Tip: Just let the staff know your RV size, I'm sure they will set you up!

We stayed at jellystone on June 7-9. It was a very nice campground and the kids had a ton of fun. Our campsite was very clean and big enough to accomodate my friends fifth wheel camper, that we stayed in. The bathrooms by the lower pool were very clean, and I thought the prices were reasonable. I bought my daughter the wristband, and it was worth the $15. She enjoyed the bouncy pillow and the pools the most. My daughter keeps asking me when we can go back! I see another camping trip here again in the near future!

What a great place to spend a few day or a full week. There are many activities for everyone to find something to keep them busy. From two pools, basketball court, volleyball pit, Frisbee golf, mini-golf, plus all the planned activities there is something for everyone including the teens. The staff was always pleasant, wonderful large camp sites w/ shade, and well maintained. As we walked the campground, many of the seasonals were so friendly and willing to start-up a conversation. I would recommend Jellystone at Fort Atkinson to anyone.
