Best french toast I've ever had. And the Eggs Bennie didn't disappoint either. Very cute and historic inn. Will come back for more!

From the charming atmosphere, to the delicious food, you can't go wrong! They have the best breakfast in Door County. The cherry coffee cake alone is to die for!! On my latest visit here, I tried a fish boil for the first time. It was wonderful! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Followed recommendations on Tripadvisor for a Door County breakfast, and not disappointed at all. Wow......1/2 portion of the stuffed french toast was very filling....and oh so yummy. The cream cheese stuffing and cherries were scrumptious! Chose to have a meat with it, and it came with 3 large pieces of crispy bacon. Another of our party choose scrambled eggs with the cherry coffee cake and enjoyed it very much. The service was impeccable (although there was about a 20-30 minute wait....but coffee was available during the wait out on the patio.) Our water/coffee was refilled promptly and frequently. Would recommend it as a "must" for anyone visiting Door County.
We were recommended to eat here by people who own cabins on the lake, and boy we weren't disappointed. I had the highly acclaimed cherry cream cheese stuffed french toast, simply delicious! The servings were huge, and the service was quick. Although we had a 20 minute wait when we arrived, we were invited to have coffee on their patio at a coffee bar staffed by a very nice gentleman who was able to give us some great biking recommendations as well. We would recommend this place to anyone, and order the stuffed french toast!
Good Morning America didn't lie when they named it the "Best Breakfast in America." I had the famous stuffed French Toast, and it lived up to expectations - perfect amount of cream cheese and cherries -yum! My boyfriend got eggs Benedict, which wasn't as good. He still liked it, but the hollendaise was very heavy. I definitely recommend going and getting the stuffed french toast. We will definitely be back next trip to Door County and plan to try the fish boil as well.
