The set for the play was superb and the two actors took great advantage. Both actors were successful in executing the various twists and turns in this excellent play. It's about life, trust, love, passion, and commitment. What more could one ask? Marty

We’ve been coming to Peninsula Players for 35 years....back when the audience sat in rickety director chairs in a tent. The theater is gorgeous and the grounds are charming and right on the Bay. We took friends of our’s last night, who had never been to Door Co. and this theater. ‘Salvage’ was a major disappointment. While the set and coordinating music were perfect, the story line was weak and the sound was inadequate. We were in Row L and had to strain to hear the dialogue. After bragging about the plays we had seen in the past to our friends, we had to apologize for this one. It won’t deter us from coming back and supporting Peninsula Players. We hope this isn’t the beginning of decline.

This setting is so lovely! The theatre is in a landscaped woods, and right on the water. There are paths and party lights, a cantina, bonfire, tables and chairs. Watching the sunset over the water is a beautiful experience. Arrive early and enjoy the ambiance. There are indoor restrooms, and a very comfortable seating, including handicapped locations without stairs. The plays and musicals have mass appeal and are always excellent. This is an experience not to be missed!

We always enjoy plays here when we’re in door county and the recent performance of Salvage gave us even more great memories to cherish for years to come. The set was amazing and the performance was fantastic. Two actors, rapid scene changes, plot twists and turns galore and plenty of humor made this another great night at the theater in the garden. And a beautiful sunset in the bay to boot!

Annually we catch one or more plays at Peninsula Players Theater. "Salvage" is play we saw on 9/6/18. It was yet another top-drawer production in that idyllic environment with a glorious sunset on Green Bay in Fish Creek. We can't wait until next summer!

You have not really been to Door County if you haven't included the Peninsula Players in your plans. Sunset on Green Bay, a huge bonfire and oh yes a great play!

We usually will attend a presentation at this theater whenever we visit Door County (which is every other year). The offerings have been a mixed bag, but I’d have to say that we’ve always felt we gotten good value for our money. Some of the cast members were familiar, as we’d seen them in previous years. We’ve seen plays dealing with Sherlock Holmes, Peter Pan and, this year, the world of collectibles. Always quality acting, and always some quirks in terms of how set changes and some scenes are handled. (We’ll never forget the Act 2 opening of the Pan play, where Hook and company are dancing and singing under the sea in tutu’s!)
Arrive early and take I the lakeshore as the sun sets - but plan your choice of outdoor seating to avoid the fire pit’s smoke!

Building was larger and more interesting than expected. Acoustics were great. Show was engaging, lots of provocative twists and interesting moments.
Before the show there is a great outdoor wander around including water view area.

The play that was presented was 90 minutes long and with only two actors. It was very well done. The sound was great and the performance was superb. College in Iowa if you have an issue with airflow you might want to sit on the edge.
