This sandy beach is so quiet and beautiful this time of year. The snack shop is still open, although limited. We bike 5.1 mi. to the beach from the park gate every year and look forward to that cup of coffee and crackers to feed the gulls. Beautiful state park. Thank you.

This beach is in a cove or bay within Peninsula State Park. There are a number of different beach toys available to rent for your enjoyment (kayaks, beach trikes, etc). There are picnic areas and benches around the beach, some shaded. The beach is nice sand and the swimming area is well marked with buoys and ropes. The water at the back boundary is waist deep on an adult. There are bathrooms and I believe outdoor showers. There is a camp store onsight where you can buy treats, clothes, etc. This is a family friendly place to swim in a lake or play on a sand beach.

Nicolet Bay Beach is in Peninsula State Park. What a gem. Nice sand beach. Canoes and kayaks for rent. Boat launch nearby. concessions, bathrooms and changing rooms all right here. Lots of parking but on busy days, if you are not early, then you will park in the overflow parking lot nearby. Big lawn area for lawn games; picnic tables and benches.

Swim, sun, kayak, paddle board, food and fun.
What more can you ask for?
It can get crowded, especially when a lot of boats drop anchor to enjoy the area, but it is still a spectacular place to spend some time in Door County.

Nicolet Beach is a gorgeous location for a day at the beach. It has bathrooms, changing rooms, small boat rentals, food, picnic tables, grills, water fountain, bike trails plus a very nice sand beach. There is water shallow enough for toddlers, and deep enough water for adults to swim. The beach looks over Horseshoe Island and there are wonderful campsites nearby. This is a very popular beach: go early or go late. The parking lot does fill up in warm weather in July and August.
