Nicolet Beach is a gorgeous location for a day at the beach. It has bathrooms, changing rooms, small boat rentals, food, picnic tables, grills, water fountain, bike trails plus a very nice sand beach. There is water shallow enough for toddlers, and deep enough water for adults to swim. The beach looks over Horseshoe Island and there are wonderful campsites nearby. This is a very popular beach: go early or go late. The parking lot does fill up in warm weather in July and August.

Lots going on here, games, relaxing, beach activities, snack shop and another shop with clothes and such. Great family place and oh so clean. Showers too.

After a nice hike and stops at overlooks, we headed to the beach. Woah - it was crazy crowded! It may be nice but we'll never know. Observed swim bouys, rental kiosk for water and paddle craft, gift shop, snack shop, bathrooms. Did not purchase anything.

We visited Nicolet Beach in Peninsula State Park during our 4th of July visit to Door County. The beach itself was very clean and inviting with plenty of area to enjoy our visit. There was a food and gift shop and picnic tables for eating. We brought our chairs and watched families enjoying the water; beautiful boats and yachts. There was many rentals for water enjoyment as well.

Great swimming beach, often very crowded, as it was during our 4th of July week visit. Snack bar, showers, restrooms, small store all serving both beach and park campground. Nice picnic area.
