“Great, worth the wait!”
Reviewed August 16, 2014

Wild Tomato is our favorite place to eat in DC. We get either the donation creation pizza or the family farms, if those don't sound good we get the sausage pesto pizza. The specials are always tasty and unique. There's nothing like the taste of wood-fired crust. If you don't want the full dining experience you can get take-out in the back (sometimes shorter wait for your food) and eat at one of their picnic tables behind the restaurant. One word of warning is that it is a small place so you have a %50 chance of eating outside under their big umbrellas when it's busy but they do give you the option of indoor seating if you prefer that. They'll eventually have another (bigger) location in Sister Bay so keep an eye out!

“Great pizza & atmosphere!!”

Wood fired oven pizza and bread basket were delicious. Had pepperoni & sausage and a green & gold pizza. Both came fast, hot and delicious!

“Best. Pizza. Ever!”
Reviewed August 15, 2014 via mobile

Best. Pizza. Ever! Their "Fun Guy"pizza is Awesome! 5 different mushrooms, caramelized onions, a garlic cream cheese spread and lots of mozzarella! We also had their family size vegetable Cobb salad. Their were all different kinds of greens in the salad including kale which gave it so much texture. Their cherry Balsamic dressing was so tasty. We would most definitely go here again. It was so good!

“Best of door county”
Reviewed August 13, 2014 via mobile

Hands down this is a perfect spot for family and Friends alike.
They have an outdoor eating area as well as inside. It's a very popular spot for the locals so you know it's good.
They are know for their hand tossed pizzas (right In front of the oven) and great burgers.
It was a younger than typically seen crowd for door county. The menu shines with gourmet type pizzas. The salads where yummy and not your typical cob and Caesar. I would recommend an appetizer such as the bread basket. It I a very generous with 5 different types of breads. The olive bread and cheese bread was fantastic.
Their burgers are delicious - also a good call on the menu.
Enjoy. You can not go wrong with anything on the menu.

“The mushroom pizza was amazing!!!”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

Our group of 6, including two adults, two teens and one kiddo all enjoyed this restaurant. The only downside is the wait... but I can understand why. Everything was amazing... salad, pizza, wine, everything.
