“Excellent food cozy atmosphere”
Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

someone suggested Wild Tomato to us so we decided to go. The food was excellent. The place was packed inside and out. There is a nice patio out front for those who prefer to enjoy the evening air. Inside the pizza oven keeps the place toasty warm and keeps the Resturant smelling great.

“Pizza with Pizaz”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We recently visited Ephraim in Door County. We decided that a quick meal would fit the bill. We had heard a lot of favorable comments on their pizza and thought we would give it a whorl. This was one of the finer pizzas we have had. Plenty of fresh, tasty choices and the pizza is cooked in a fire hearth. Not a lot of indoor seating but adequate outside tables. Parking at the restaurant is somewhat limited. We elected to do takeout. We'll recommended.

“Nice specialty pizzas”
Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

A Fun and different pizza pasta and sandwich place. A definite upgrade over a California Pizza Kitchen.

We stopped in at lunch on a Sunday and were seated outside immediately. Since it was a nice fall day and the patio was somewhat heated it was really quite comfortable.

We had the onion string appetizer and it was ok - needed more spice.

The two couples had Two different small pizzas (about $17 each) and those 2 pizzas fed the 4 of us with 2 pieces to take home. We had the De Lux and Wild Pi pizzas. Both were great and they offered fresh Parmesan cheese a nice added item for sure.

The waitress was Kirsten was really nice and not only very prompt but very attentive throughout the meal.

This is an eclectic kind place so get in the swing of things and give this place a try you won't be sorry.

With Love from MN

“What More is there to add?”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

I think almost everyone loves this delicious place. The pizza is really excellent and it is wood-fired. It is a nice setting and a bit small, so get there early to score some seats. They have outside seating with heat lamps if the weather permits. However, it can be a bit buggy out there. After all, it's right across from the big state park. Clean place and very helpful employees, but once full, it can be sort of noisy. Easy parking out front.

“Fantastic Pizza”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

I have eaten at the Wild Tomato twice in the past year. I have tried to eat there several other times during the summer months, but the wait time was too long so we opted to go else where. There is seating for about 20 indoors and about that many outdoors. They do have heating lamps above the outdoor tables. Inside there is bar that seats 4.

Last night we had the green and gold pizza (packer colors). The green is spinach and the gold is cheese curds. It was fantastic. They also have an extensive beer selection, and a moderate wine selection.

Pizza comes in two sizes. The small (12") is enough for two people, with no leftovers.

If you are seated indoors you can watch them hand toss the pizza dough and see the pizza's cooking in the wood burning oven.
