We had the cherry walnut salads and the Green & Gold pizza. Loved the fresh tastes and delicious combination!!

Stopped here yesterday for the third time in last 18 months on a day trip to Door county. We split a caprese salad and small veggie pizza. It was fresh and flavorful with plenty of leftovers. We sat outside which was a treat. Service is excellent and we missed the crowds by going around 3:00.
One of the better dinners in DC. We are from Chicagoland are totally spoiled in the fact we are surrounded by excellent food. They had woodfired pizza, and it was good, but not near the others we have had. They had a good bread basket you could order to tie you over until the pizza came. They had good beer on tap also. Service was good and there was outdoor seating. It is right across from the Peninsula State Park entrance. I would go here over some of the other places. Sometimes pizzas need to be kept simple to be good, I think ours was over topped and the true flavors were lost. Still better than other places.
Stopped here right after arriving in Fish Creek. Was about 4PM and we received pizza within 15 minutes. Ordered a large for two people. The pizza is fresh and had enough left over for a late night snack as well as lunch the next day. THe cold pizza was just as good as the hot. Would definately stop here again on next visit.
The Wild Tomato is near the far end of the village, but it is within easy walking distance of any place in Fish Creek. We had about a half hour wait to be seated for dinner on a beautiful summer day. There are chairs and tables on the inside and outside. The pizza is marvelous. We had one with carmelized onios and mushrooms - it really was super.
