This is a TINY place but when the weather is fine there is outside seating. Expect at least a 30-45 minute wait but boy-oh-boy is it worth it! Nice communal table, a small bar (maybe 5-seater) and several smaller tables. This place is just the best with great prices too. Try the special-of-the-day pizza and they donate to a local charity from each purchase. I really cannot say enough about how great this place is. Great beer and wine selection too.

I had searched for a place to eat on my first night ever in Door County. What a treat Wild Tomato was! It's a small venue, and it was packed. Luckily, there were some open spots at the counter. First, we had a glass of wine..we weren't sure about the option we were contemplating, so they gave us a taste. Yes, please, that was great. The actual pour was generous. We split a delicious salad. When a salad is that good, it is clear the pizza will be, too, OMG!! The wood fired pizza was heaven's food. We had the 'fun guy" (fungi) mushroom pizza with a substitution of tomato sauce for the garlic cream. The crust was chewy and tasty, and the 4-5 kinds of mushrooms and caramelized onions took this to another level. We wouldn't have eaten the whole pizza, but with nowhere to store the leftovers, we weren't wasting a bite! SO GOOD!! So fantastic, in fact, in fact, that the next morning, as we were headed home to Chicago, we stopped in and bought 2 par-baked pizzas to take with us. They were just as good re-heated. Wild Tomato is worth a trip if you like pizza.. You will be wowed.

We were looking for a casual restaurant with good food; excellent hand tossed pizza, fabulous beer selection, great cheese curds and delightful service. We got there before 5:00pm and by 5:15 all the tables were full. They have outdoor seating in the summer which would increase their capacity. Will definitely go back.

Local Favorite pizza and bread basket. Custom Cherry soda very good too! Generous selections of beers and staff very knowledgeable and helpful in making selections to match your tastes. Repeat visit - usually busy a good sign that food is great and people want to return for another great specialty pizza. Worth a try you will not be disappointed!

Stopped for lunch and not in the mood for pizza and ordered a sandwich. It was the traditional club. It was plan. It needed a garlic or bacon mayo. Ordered the fried curds. They were excellent. The batter was nice and fluffy. Not at all greasy. My husband ordered the burger. He said it was so so. My mom ordered the grilled cheese. She said it needed something. Kind of bland. However the pizza looked great. Cooked in an wood stove and made in front of you. I would go back and try the pizza. Limited kids menu.
