“Peninsula State Park is one of the nicest places to visit.”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

I make is a point to visit this Park every year to see what nature brings to this park. We have seen many turkeys, deer and of course the beautiful scenery. We have yet to see a bald eagle, but we are hoping some day to see one near Eagle Tower. We have taken sunset photos and many pictures of the bluffs. It is worth the visit each time for the $5.00 to drive around the park for an hour.

“A true jem”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

This very large state park has it all. Awesome biking/skiing trails. Beautiful roads through the trees. Nice camping areas. I've camped there maybe 5 times. Its a little hard to see the very small sign at the entrance in Fish Creek, but thats the only negative. Great huge areas to investigate, birding, nature, plants, photography, biking, hiking, skiing, everything. Get a map and explore. You won't be disappointed, and the crowning jewel, the outdoor theatre with wonderful plays on the history of Wi and surrounding areas- awesome.
Stop at Sven's Bluff for an awesome sight. Go to Nicolet Beach for ice cream or boat rentals. Friendly helpful people in the entrance bldg, and a few items, books, clothing, etc to buy. Come, see, stay. You'll enjoy it. They also have a great FB page with activities in park and at nature center.

“Beautiful camping spot, convenient to everything!”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Beautiful camp sites, great for all types of camping from tents to motor coaches. Friendly park staff with scheduled events for everyone. Beautiful groomed biking and walking trails. Pet friendly sites. Nice heated bathrooms and shower houses. Some sites open year round. Beautiful secluded location in park, but conveniently located in near everything. Great dining just miles from the park.

“Best Camping in Wisconsin”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

This park has everything you could want for camping. Miles of walking and biking trails, swimming beach, kayaking, plenty of bathrooms and showers. This is by far our favorite campground in Wisconsin. There are plenty of electric sites although they are hard to get. You can chose sunny or wooded. It is quiet and private. The nature center is especially nice if you have younger children or grandchildren. Some spectacular sun sets and a beautiful and challenging golf course. It can't be beat.
