Fresh and familiar -- cinnamon buns, cherry danish and even bagels with cream cheese -- the hardest part was what to choose!
Coffee was delicious too and for guests, free until 9:30 a.m.

We stayed at the resort and went every morning for the cherry turnovers which were heavenly. Sure there were other turnovers...but heck, you are in Door County. Anyway, the cardamon bread was excellent. You can get other delicious pastries there, too.

Rode my bike from Fish Creek to the bakery just to eat a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was good but not great. It lacked cinnamon but the frosting was magnificent with a touch of almond. Lovely view and the staff was kind and thoughtful. Worth the drive or ride for the view and the tasty treats.

We were visiting Door County and were told that the best Pecan Roll (in the universe) could be found at Grandma's Bakery in Ellison Bay. It was a moderate but pleasant drive from Egg Harbor, but well worth the trip - yes, it was the best pecan roll that I've ever had. Loaded with pecans, perfect caramel topping (not too gooey or too sweet), and roll itself was moist but firm, with just the right amount of gluten firmness. And I'd judge the size to be large to extra large. You won't want to share this one!

Basically this pecan roll changed my life. It's huge and every bite was amazing. It made me rethink every pecan roll I've eaten before it. Every pecan roll before this one was a mistake. We also had granola, coffee cookies, turnovers and cookies. Alll of them were pretty darn good. I'd drive the 6 hours back here for the roll and the granola.
