This is a little out of the way and there are challenges finding it. When you do it is worth the trip. The breakfasts are what they are known for but for a change in a Friday fish fry its worth a try.. Well prepared food and also a good menu will satisfy most.

Fiddlesticks is an out-of-the-way cafe that is well worth finding!
The decor is interesting, using old doors and windows for decorating.
The salads are wonderfully crisp and varied and the dressings that we had were excellent.
The quiches are delicious. Don't come if you're in a hurry because it does take a little while to get your food. However the atmosphere is conducive to sitting and visiting with family or friends while you're waiting!

As an Elkhorn resident, Fiddlesticks is far and away my pick for a restaurant breakfast. The food is always great -- quite a bit above standard café fare. I never go away disappointed, nor has anyone I've ever taken there. Besides breakfast, I occasionally go to Fiddlesticks for their Friday Night Fish Fry. In my opinion, they offer perhaps the best selection of fish in Elkhorn. (But I have heard some people complain that their Fish Fry is a bit pricey.) In my experience, the service and wait times have been consistently as good as anywhere else around town; probably better than most. That being said, I don't think I've ever been there for lunch. So . . . breakfast, a must! . . . Fish Fry, give it a try . . . lunch, you're on your own.

I have visited Fiddlesticks many times...for breakfast, lunch, and Friday Fish Fry. You can't go wrong with the food...everything is something special. However, sometimes service is a bit slow...and the food can be a bit slow coming out of the kitchen. If they could figure out a way to step up the pace, this place would be a 5!
