I found the restaurant when searching online for gluten free menus. It looked nice in writing, but was much better than expected in person.
Being cheese lovers from the east coast, we started off with the Wisconsin cheese platter, it was great. We both had salads that were creative and tasted winderf. For dinner one of us had calamari (it was phenomenal) and the other had the filet (he said it was very good but not the best he had). The filet came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We split the panna cotta for desert--don't skip the panna cotta, it is amazing.
We were thrilled to find a restaurant that had numerous gluten free options, and staff who were very knowledgeable about their food and didn't hesitate to get our many questions about cooking methods answered. To top it off, the staff was customer focused, efficient and extremely friendly.
The only semi-negative thing I can say it that it was loud. The ceiling looks like painted tin, the floor is hardwood, and the walls are solid, so sound just bounces. It wasn't unpleasant, just a bit loud.
We wish we were here longer so we could enjoy another wonderful meal.
